We rode down there with Brandy who was Brock's daycare teacher last year and someone who I have became friends with over this past year and her daughter Avery who is about three months older than Brock.
Brock & Brandy on his last day of daycare
Brock was so excited when we finally got there. You can always tell when he gets excited about something because he gets real shy and clingy but if you give him a minute he'll show how he's really feeling..... sure enough he was jumping off furniture in no time!

--------------------------------
Sunday morning we started baking a cake first thing.
The company that I work for [Andy's Burger, Shakes & Fries] holds a major fund raising event each year from June - September. All the money that we raise goes to the Andy's Foundation and with that money we give funds to
The Miracle League, the Make A Wish Foundation,
and several local children foundations.
I work for the corporate office of Andy's during the day but I also work for the Andy's of Pikeville at night so I get the privledge of helping raise funds at both levels.
This weekend the Andy's of Pikeville held a "bake off." Some of the employees brought in home made cakes that were divided up and sold with all the proceeds going to the Andy's Foundation. I don't cook but I can make a pretty sweet "ho ho cake" so that's what the kids and I baked Sunday morning. A ho ho cake is a devils food cake with homemade fluffy frosting in the center. The frosting literally takes 22 minutes to make. You have to add small amounts of evaporated milk over the 22 minute time span (thank goodness for an automatic mixer!).
The kids and I made a beautiful and yummy cake and dropped it off at the Andy's of Pikeville and then headed to church.
After church I gave the kids a dollar a piece and Joey took them back to the Andy's of Pikeville so they could pick out a piece of cake to buy to help with the Andy's Foundation.
Brock chose a lime cake because it was green, Bethany chose a cupcake (that fits her so perfect), and Ayden chose a chocolate cake.
After dinner at grandmas & papas they got to go to a new park papa found (I'm not sure if they were supposed to be playing there so we'll leave the name of it out :)
