Thanksgiving begins a few days before at the office I work at. We all bring our specialty food items, I'm not good at cooking so I decorate :) We fry a turkey and have a delicious ham and just enjoy everyone's company like a big ol' family gathering.

This year Kristy helped added some Thanksgiving decor by making some cards and personally adding leaves from outside.
I love the week of Thanksgiving, watching the beautiful colorful leaves falling to me is a small glimpse of what Heaven's decoration is going to be like and the best part will be that we won't have to rake the leaves up! :)

On Thanksgiving Day our first stop is Joey's great grandma and papa's house.
Just as always Joey's grandma had everything right ready to eat at 12:00, again she completely amazes me!

I showed up with an amazing surprise of my own.... a home cooked apple pie!
Everyone was speechless!
After Thanksgiving lunch we all headed outside
these first photos are ones that my precious four year old took,
he is really becoming quiet the photographer

The kids had so much fun just enjoying the simple things outside. It blessed my soul to see them jump off their gator to go pick up pecans, play kick ball, throw the football and play catch.

An hour after finished lunch it was time to go over to my parents house for our next Thanksgiving meal. My family isn't as structured so the meal is usually not ready to eat right at a certain time which works great for me because my brother and I are notoriously late. Our kids love going over to my parents because there's always big "toys" to play with in the yard.

Joey and I love to go over there because it's never a dull gathering and we always come home hurting from laughing so hard. My family is a simple country family that runs on laughter.

While we were waiting for dinner to be done the kids colored some Thanksgiving place mats I brought over.
This is Abby, my 5 year old adorable neice

And by kids, this includes my 25 year old brother Shawn, he's the tall one with the mo hawk in the middle

After Thanksgiving we all looked through sales papers and cut out our Christmas lists.

It was another great and memorable Thanksgiving
