Introducing Mr. & Mrs. Karasiewicz

July 30th, 2011 Joey had the privileged of officiating the wedding of his little cousin Tiffany and her fiance' Rob. Joey had the normal premarital counciling sessions with them before hand so he knew they were ready which always makes a wedding so much better!
They decided to get married at Topsail Island
It was the most easy going wedding we've ever been too.
They just all showed up, the guys walked out to find a good spot on the beach and then had a wedding!
Close family and friends were there
The bridesmaids wore beautiful simple dresses that I think she said were only like $30

They guys picked a perfect spot that was like a little island
The family crossed over a small puddle of water
Brock is not much of a water person so he stayed on the other side with Rob's grandpa
Tiffany's brother, Dylan "walked her down the isle" of water

It was a really hot day that day so the kids couldn't resist jumping in the water
Obviously Ayden thought this was a water baptism instead of a wedding
Even Brock joined in the fun!
Leave it to our kids to be the example of what not to do at a beach wedding... luckily we had an extra change of clothes for him.... their mother knows them well :)
All of Rob's family came from Michigan to watch the ceremony

"These rings are symbols of your commitment of love. They are made of gold, expressing the purity which should always be in your marriage. They are formed in circles, expressing the unending dimension of your love and the eternal love of God. Share these rings now in the full awareness of Christ’s love in you and through you"
 "You may kiss your bride"
 and he did
"and I now present to you Mr. & Mrs......."
"oh my goodness, I can't remember how to pronounce your name!?!?"
 Mr. and Mrs. Rob Karasiewicz

tried to take a family shot with atleast one of our children present
 but "there goes Ayden too"
 What a sweet couple

finally, we found a good heart drawer, I didn't post the other hearts that were attempted,
they were sad, really sad

lovely photo until......
uh oh, the tide is coming in!

Dylan Best being stubborn and not giving his sister a good luck peck on the cheek
and in the war with the photographer and Dylan.... Dylan won :)
that's ok, sister knows he loves her.

It was a great day for a wedding, we had a blast!
oh, and we did finally get that whole family portrait :)
