Joey's dad's birthday is on February 12th so our Valentine's day sweets always start a few days before.
Every year he gets a "Mickey's Pastry Cake"
the kids love to help
Ayden did good this year, he didn't go face first for the cake :)
"Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you, happy birthday,
dear Papa with the Gator, happy Birthday to you!
finally, it's time to cut the cake!
"your never gonna guess Papa"
yup, we thought you'd like it
next comes time for grandma to pass out her Valentines
this year everyone got pet monkeys with their chocolates
a few weeks earlier we made our Valentines for our friends at school from an idea on Pinterest
the object of the photo was to make it look like you were handing them the sucker in the photo
here's a few of our test shots
then they just broke out into craziness!
but the finished project was adorable
Brock also worked on his homemade Valentine's box
which turned out adorable too!
On Valentine's day it was time to pass out our goodies
Bethany made flower bouquets for all the teachers in the daycare
She was so excited to pass them out to everyone
When the kids got home they had mail!
Grandma Gator and Great Grandma (grandma at the beach) had sent them Valentine cards!
we then headed over to grandma and papa Arbeau's house for more goodies!
it was nice to see their cousins
Joey had a beautiful arrangement of flowers for me too.
He was so sweet to bring them to my work and surprise me
Money can't buy love because it truly is priceless!
