This year we decided to try the "Pickle Drop" for our New Years celebration. A couple thousand people gathered at the Mount Olive Pickle Company in Mount Olive which is a a town of about 4,500! At 7 o'clock a lighted, three foot pickled dropped down the Pickle Company's 45 foot flag pole in a pickle tank to welcome in the new year.... a little early but perfect timing for us with little ones!
The whole event only lasted about 15 minutes but it was fun. Happy New Year!
