A Weekend Wedding... At the Beach!

 Saturday night after the Honor Star Crowning Ceremony at church Bethany and I headed to Topsail Island to meet Joey and the boys who went down there Friday night. As you can tell from the photo Bethany was ill as a snake by the time the crowning was over so she slept the entire way to the beach while I drove in a terrible thunderstorm. Even though she was asleep I still enjoyed having someone to ride with me for that hour and half.

Sunday morning we all went to church at Scott's Hill Baptist church and then out to eat, and the kids all went home with Danielle while Joey and I headed to the wedding. 

  Joey was officiating the ceremony, he always looks so handsome in a suit!

 About and hour later Danielle, Grace and Bethany joined us

 Grace is a spitting image of her momma! 

Hannah was beautiful and was so funny because she was trying to talk to Grace the whole time while the wedding was going on and forgot she was infront of everyone

 the ceremony was really short but beautiful 

 

 and the reception had great food 

 loved seeing the special dances 

 David has waited several years to find love again after his divorce so it was nice to see him find it with Jamie. 

 Bethany surprisingly was very shy and hung by herself the whole time

 About 10 Joey and I called it a night and we headed to our hotel and Danielle was sweet enough to keep the kids that night so we could enjoy a few hours of free time.

 The next morning we returned the favor and kept all the Kennedy kids while Danielle went to a dr's appt. Hey, we had a pool till 11:00 so we used it! 

 We checked in with 2 and checked out with 8 ha! 

 It didn't take long at all for the kids to pass out driving from Wilmington to Topsail Island

 Bethany thought she could hang.......

 but she couldn't ;) 

 When we got to "grandma at the beach's" house we ate lunch and cleaned up a little 

 Sadly, we had to head home but it defiantly was a weekend and one weekday packed slammed full of fun
