Friday after work and school we headed to Topsail Island! 
Ayden put the trap out that night and caught a fish!
So great grandma taught us how to clean a fish
The kids were completely fascinated with this process.
The next morning grandma made some awesome waffles
dad caught another fish
We lathered up on sunscreen and headed to the beach!
Bethany was really cranky that day so I actually videotaped her throwing a tantrum and surprisingly that stopped it :)
Mom even got in the water!
Bethany tried the water out after she calmed down too.
When we headed home after lunch we found out what would help Bethany... a nap!

We all settled in because Sunday was church and then ......

We had such a great Sunday!
Monday was another fun day too!
This time Danielle, the kids and I headed to "Grammy Pammy's" house
Big thanks to "Papa Neil" for sending pizza!

Grammy sent us home with pop cycles
We met Joey in Hampstead and headed home
That night ended up being one of the worst rides home we've ever had. The kyack on the top almost flew off so we had to stop twice so Joey could adjust them in the pouring rain on a bridge! and halfway home the second kyack had to be put inside the Tahoe window in between the kids. It was midnight before we got home, bad weather and VERY cranky kids.... but we made it! We couldn't laugh at the time but later... much later... we could ;)
