Sunlight Kids

Yesterday was Ayden's first Wednesday night in the Sunlight Kids at Whitley Church. He was so excited, he called it the Sunny Patch class after Miss. Spider's Sunny Patch Friends he watches on Noggin. He told me how he learned about God and the birds and a hungry man. The lesson the children are learning this month is on Elijah and how he was fed by the birds. I have had the blessing of helping to get the materials ready for this class so I got to really see what they were learning about. Think about it, Elijah was hungry and God commanded the ravens to drop food down to feed him! How amazing it that???? This is just another example of how God will never let his children go without their needs Oh, how I needed to be reminded of this simple truth. 1Kings 17:2-6
