Christmas morning ..... the day that we hope and wish for to come as quickly as possible as children and as parents we wish we could bottle it up and make it last forever.
Christmas started for Joey and I about 5 hours we went to sleep. The kids were up and ready to go at 6:30 am. They each had two gifts to open and were so excited. For over a month all Ayden had asked for was a green tractor and Brock wanted a tractor with hay in it and that's exactly what they got. Bethany got her first Cabbage Patch baby doll (thanks to another friend blessing us) and all three kids got a ton of hotwheel cars. It was so special to see them tickled over so little. Christmas at our house took about 10 minutes and then it was time to play!

Next it was time for some coffee for mom and dad (Bethany likes to pretend, she's a Starbucks junkie in the making:) , baths and off to "grandma & papa with the gator"'s house.

Joey's mom and dad were smart this year and put all of the clothes in one bag. The kids try to get excited about clothes but how can you when there are so many trucks to be openend?! Bethany's favorite gift was a baby doll that really talks and drinks her bottle. "Just what I needed another baby yelling mama non stop!" :) The boys got tonka trucks, puzzles, and more trucks; Joey says that boys can never have too many trucks, it's like girls and their shoes . After they were all finished opening their gifts Joey's dad brought out a little big surprise named "CoCo" and boy did the kids love her! CoCo is their full blooded chocolate lab that will stay at Grandma and Papa's house (praise the Lord) and they get to go see her every week.

Our next stop was "great grandma & papa's" house for lunch and MORE presents!
Joey's grandma had a wonderful lunch ready (as always) so we got to eat good!

Next it was time to open presents. Every year everyone sits in the living room and we take turns opening gifts. The youngest gets to open first and then so on and so on. Ayden had fun helping Brylee pass the gifts out this year. Wow, I can't believe how big my baby boy is getting!
I always enjoy going to Joey's grandma's house, it's so nice to see everyone and watch how everyone has grown over the past year.

Around 3:00 it was time to head over to my mom and dad's house for MORE food and MORE presents.......................................
At my mom and dad's we always draw names at Thanksgiving so everyone gets one nice gift from the person who "secretly" drew their name. The secret only lasts for about a minute and then we end up figureing out who has our name :) nice thought though.
Ayden, Brock & Bethany love spending time with their cousins Mallory, Abby, & Chloe. Ayden & Abby are about 6 months apart and favor so much. Brock Bethany & Chloe are all the the same size so they all look like they are the same age. When me and my sibblings were growing up all of our family was spread out all over the United States so it is so nice that my babies have cousins the same ages so close by.

Ayden loved his "haulin' truck" that his "uncle Eric" made for him. My brother has a real talent for making furniture and wood pieces.

We had one last stop before Christmas day was officially over.
We went back to Joey's grandparent's for left overs and to visit with everyone again.
At this point the kids were officially EXHAUSTED!
We headed home and put the kids to bed and then Joey and I started in on organizing all the new toys and gifts.
We were so blessed this year. If we didn't receive one gift at all I still would feel like the luckiest person in the world. I have an amazing husband, three beautiful energetic children, and we have a home, clothes on our back & food to eat. The Lord blesses us with everything that we need and on this day he also blessed us with a lot of our wants. This was a great Christmas!
