Mom's Birthday

 June 27th my mom turned 48 years old. All of us kids got together like we always do and planned a birthday dinner. We had grilled chicken, fried chicken (thanks grandma), hot dogs, macaroni salad, corn, mashed potatoes, & macaroni and cheese.

 Next was cake and ice cream

 

Then presents

 

 And then the funnest part for the kids, playing outside!

This is Ayden and his cousin Abby, they are six months apart but they favor almost like twins

 

 Brock, Chloe, & Bethany, are also 6 months apart (in that order) and they also are like a set of triplets

 

 This is Mallory is the oldest grandchild with "Beast," the newest member of the Arbeau family

 I love watching the kids play outside. It reminds me so much of when I was a kid; all my brothers and I had was outside, we didn't have a bunch of fancy toys or entertainment but yet we stayed outside until it was dark.

 

 My mom was a little nervous about turning 48, only two more years and it's 50, then 60, then......

But at the end of the day, her oldest child is in her 30's while she's in her 40's and when you look at all the blessings given in those 48 years, (seven of those blessings perched up on the back of her car), it really doesn't seem that bad after all.
