Dentists and Doctors and Milestones Oh My!

There is nothing like that very first time you hear your baby's heartbeat in your stomach or their first step or the first time they say momma but for me I still get so tickled with their first teeth cleaning or hearing tests.... I know I am silly but those are milestones in their lives.
This day we had all three dentist and doctors appointments.
Ayden had been to the dentist already but this was his first time getting xrays
 Bethany got her teeth cleaned
and they tried to put the sealant stuff on to protect against cavities but she was not having that. Miss drama came out real quick on this one so we'll have to try again some other time.
Brock on the other hand was the man! He was so brave getting his teeth cleaned, xrayed and sealed. He even had a small cavity and they were able to fill it without having to use Novocaine! You go Brock!

Everyone was shined up and now it was time for yearly check ups.

Bethany is so funny, she can be the most sweetest, toughest child in the world and then out of left field comes a dramatic little girl and you are thinking "where did this come from????" I've come to the conclusion that I have no idea and never will!
luckily it only last for a little bit and she's back :)
her check up went good after they took the band aid off where they had pricked her finger.
She is extremely tall for her age but very healthy (Thank you Lord)
Brock's my shy child that out of no where will let out a silly scream or some weird saying and will be just as serious as can be.
he constantly makes us laugh until our belly's hurt

he checked out great too and loved seeing his "cousin's" mom, Mrs. Valerie, or "doctor Valerie" on this day
Now Ayden, he has a way of bringing so much energy to a room and has been that way literally since he was in my belly!
This year I've scene the biggest change in Ayden. His baby chubby checks and sweet love handles are fading away as he becomes more active. For the first time ever we have had to use the elastic fasteners in his pants to make them smaller! He now has to lock the door when he goes to the bathroom, changes or takes a shower.
He wants privacy and doesn't like kisses from his mom when I leave him.
He has turned into a little man over night :(
He also has become so smart, I knew that he was a smart kid but to see how he loves to add and write and the questions that he asks just amazes me. I've always heard that kids will learn more in kindergarten then they will their entire life and I believe it. I watched a little 5 year old go in and come out a complete different 6 year old!
The boys checked out great. Ayden is a little tall for his age and Brock is right in the middle of where he should be.
Joey and I did it! We successfully got three children three dentist and three doctors appointments and still made it to work by lunch! Whoohoo for mom and dad.
I enjoy these moments with the kids seeing how much they've grown up in a year but I know these days of mom and dad taking them to their checkups will be over before I know it :(
Hearing their heartbeat for the first time was amazing but watching them grow into the amazing little people that God had in store for them, now that's really awesome!
