What's Labor Day weekend at the beach without food????
This year I learned how Joey's grandma makes her prize winning slaw
The kids enjoyed time on the bikes
and being in the water
Bethany pretended to be like mom and "lay out"
that only lasted about 3 minutes :)
Peanut butter and banana sandwiches! Yum
We got in some beach time and the kids met some little ones with a water board. The kids were so sweet to try to teach Ayden, Brock and Bethany how to ride
Now the main couse some good ol' BBQ, hushpuppies, potato salad and slaw
and then for dessert since Joey's grandma and I had the same idea about bring lots of biscuits all the leftovers made perfect donuts!
Bethany was just as amazed as I was about how grandma can cook up all this neat stuff!
The weekend was as big of a hit as the donuts!
