July 4th fell on a Thursday this year so it was a work day for me and the kids came along too.
The party was a big splash :)

Friday night we headed to Topsail Island for a mini 48 hour vacation for the July 4th weekend!
We had a surprise waiting for us.... Uncle Toni had his three girls there!
Even though it was almost dark Ayden headed straight to the water
The next morning the kids were up early thankfully so was the coffee!
Grandma made an awesome breakfast as usual!
and as soon as possible we headed out for fun in the sun!
Mom and dad had just recently had bad reports from the dermatologist so our kids knew they better lather up on the sunscreen!
Weekends at the beach are always the best! You don't need much, a little sunshine and salty air and the skies the limit on the adventures you can have!
