Open House for Ayden & Brock

Tuesday, August 23rd Brock and Ayden had their open house for pre-K and kindergarden.

We met Ayden's teacher first. Ayden will be in kindergarden this year. He was able to find his folder and point out his name. His sister immediately found his fruit snack pack :)

We checked out the cafeteria, library and the gym

Then we went to the next building over and met Brock's Preschool Teacher.

Going into Brock's room really made me think back about my days as a little one. His room had the wooden kitchen set that I used to love playing make believe in when I was little.

 

After we met their teachers I let the kids decide where they wanted to eat.... and you guessed it... 

Andy's it was.

Ayden had his usual Andy's cheeseburger with a salad and orangeade 

 Brock had a cheeseburger kids meal, fries & a water

And Bethany had a kids meal nuggets with fries and a water

for dessert they had yummy Butterfinger Blast Custard

On the way home you'll never believe who was out and about.... Woody and Buzz!!!!

Of coarse we stopped and Ayden and Brock met them, Bethany screamed not to go near them so she helped me take pictures.

 

 

 

 Oh, I was filled with so much emotion taking my boys to meet their teachers. You hear parents say all the time, "oh, you'll blink your eyes and they'll be grown......" everyday I find that statement truer and truer. I blinked my eyes and they were crawling, I blinked and they were walking, talking and now I blink my eyes and they are signing up for school. It happens in a blink.........
