A Saturday at the Beach!

 Joey's uncle and his family were down from Pennsylvania this past Saturday so we met them at the beach. They have three little girls, Hannah, Holly & Haley that are about the same ages as our three so we knew the kids would have a blast.
Once we arrived at the beach the kids were immediately ready to hit the water.

 

 

 

 

 

The girls loved just laying in the water

 

Ayden & his dad stayed in the ocean most of the time 

and even tried a little body surfing

 

Brock was content doing some surfing of his own. 

He pretended to ride the wave on the sand

    

They made swimming pools and sandcastles

(Isn't amazing how much fun kids can have with a shovel and bucket)

and then headed back out in the water for just a little bit longer

 

 

 

 

 We stayed out there for about 3 1/2 hours and they loved every bit of it

We headed back to the beach house for showers and downtime next

 It was so cute to see the kids automatically pair up with their cousin that was their same age

The last thing we did was eat a yummy spaghetti dinner cooked by Joey's aunt Deanna and then headed home. It was a wonderful day trip and fun spending time with the family.
