My baby girl is three this year so it was time to see if she was ready to start dance. A friend of mine graciously handed down some dance clothes and shoes to Bethany so I figured it was the perfect timing to see if she was ready.
When I pulled out the outfits and shoes she immediately started trying them on and twirling around saying "look momma I'm a ballerina." That's all I need to hear :)
Tuesday, September 27th was her first day entering a dance studio. We decided to try Ms. Robbins Academy of Dance because it's really close to my work and her daycare and I've heard some really positive comments about this studio. Bethany's dance teacher is also Ayden's assistant teacher at school so it was nice to see a familiar face.
When we walked in Bethany was such a big girl, she got in line right with the girls. There was a few moments she showed her strong willed personality but overall she did great!
Last week we attended her second class and mom didn't go in there with her this time so I watched from a window. Looking though that window I could just see time passing by right infront of my eyes! It's tough watching your babies grow up so fast, especially with Bethany because she's my last baby. As hard as it is to see them grow up I know it's part of life so I'm going to smile and be happy and encourage them along. Thank you Lord for blessing Joey and I with all three of our babies and I pray blessing over them as they continue to grow into the wonderful young boys and girl you would have them be.
Children are a gift from the LORD; they are a reward from him. Psalm 127:3
