The kids started piling off of buses on the fairgrounds about 9:00 am.
The kids were so excited!
The first stop was to see all the animals
The next stop was to see the show
There was a farmer doing magic tricks
and a dancing pig for entertainment
Then they had an acrobat act that Ayden really enjoyed
Brock's class enjoyed the show also
I spotted Brock's class while Ayden's class was walking to the next exhibit so I was able to sneak over and say hey to my little man
Next we headed over to watch the pig races
He was able to motivate the pigs with Oreos, what a coincidence, that's what motivates my kids too :)
Each part of the crowd got a pig they were rooting for
We had Brittany "Spare" Ribs
They even took a dive, it was so cute to see a swimming pig motivated by chocolate!
Next was a hayride around the fairgrounds
mmmmmmm, corndogs, french fries, lemonades, oh my!
Next we visited the birds, rabbits and pigs
Then over to the arts and crafts exhibit
The kids were making scary pumpkin faces in the arts and crafts exibit
One of the little girls in Ayden's class one a ribbon at the fair for her artwork
The kids even got to milk a cow!
It was finally time to head out and eat lunch!
We went to Mount Olive Park for lunch
Ayden and I ate jelly sandwiches with no peanut butter
somebody ate the last bit of peanut butter at home and forgot to replace it :(
Ayden ate his so fast he didn't even notice :)
Then it was free play time!
Ayden loved seeing all of his friends from his preschool last year. It ended up this year that everyone of his old classmates were in different classes so Ayden was so lonely the first few days of school this year
All the little "turkeys" played hard
Both Joey and I were tired too but it was worth it to spend some quality time with our boys
It was a beautiful day for the fair!
