Ok God, I hear you.......

This morning during my devotion time I was reading the first chapter in 2 Samuel. King Saul and his son Jonathan had been killed and the message was just delivered to David. Now, King Saul had tried several times to kill David in the past so I would have thought the David would be leaping for joy because he didn't have to run and hide anymore. But no, David tore his clothes in agony and prepared a funeral song for him. My first thought is wow, how in the world could he forgive him so easily and quickly. And then of coarse thoughts go through my head about people that have wronged me and how I realized the feelings that I am still harboring ; feelings of anger and sometimes even hate. Later this morning I checked my face book and guess what,..... in my in box I have a friend suggestion for someone that did me really wrong several years ago. Immediately all those feelings came back up and as I went to press the delete button I thought..... Ok, God, I hear you..... God is so amazing and to the point. I read this morning about forgiving and within hours I too am challenged to put my differences aside and turn the other cheek, move on, FORGIVE.
