Wow, this day came so fast. Just yesterday I was giving birth to my little girl and now she's already a year old! I started early get

ting ready for her birthday. This was my third first birthday in a row so I have the whole planning thing pretty down pat. About a month ago I started picking up little things here and there for the goody bags and odds and ends for the party. I was so excited to find the table cloths on clearance for 1.00!
Is that sad when you get excited over saving a quarter? The weather earlier in the week was showing rain but God blessed us with a perfect day. It did start to rain right at 4:00 but that ended up

being great because we were able to relax and enjoy the rain and then slowly clean up. We had hot dogs, chips, apple sauce, & watermelon for lunch and cupcakes & ice cream for dessert. Bethany ended up eating three hotdogs! Her birthday

being on memorial day was great because we were able to have the whole family over, have a cookout and celebrate her birthday all in one day. She was so cute with the puzzled look as to why kids were singing"happy birthday to her. The yard was set up perfect for the kids, there was the trampoline for the older kids, a gator and small four wheeler, two swing sets and a ton a yard

space to run free. After it was all over and everyone was gone A

yden and Brock took about a 10 minute rest and then were back playing while we all cleaned up.
The neatest part of the day was about 8:00 that night. The boys were asleep and Bethany woke up. She and I got to play and laugh in the living room right by ourselves. It is very rare that we get just girl time

so I really treasured that half and hour.
