The kid's Easter started on Thursday. They had Easter parties and egg hunts at their school.
Friday their grandparents surprised the boys with a overnight trip to the beach!
It was cloudy Saturday morning so they got to go to the aquarium.
Later that day it warmed up so they got to go walk in the ocean
When the boys got home Saturday night we made Resurrection cookies.

The cookies didn't turn out (see below) what they are supposed to look like but the lesson was great!

The next morning was EASTER SUNDAY!
The kids woke up to their surprises on the table,
we got dressed up and went to church
After church we headed to Joey's parents for dinner and an Easter egg hunt
Next it was to my mom and dad's house for more dinner and egg hunts!
My grandma had special baskets for each great grand baby, they were so cute all huddled up at the car waiting to see what they got.
At the end of the weekend we had over a dozen chocolate bunnies and tons of candy; we were stuffed but most of all our kids learned about a loving God who sent his Son to die for us and no amount of chocolate could be better than that! :)
