Remember when you were a kid and you stayed outside all day and the water hose and the sunshine kept you entertained for hours?
Saturday I had the privilege of watching my kids enjoy a day just like that!
We were invited to Elizabeth's birthday party(thanks Elizabeth!); they had a huge blow up water slide, face painting, snacks, water balloons, cake and ice cream and a beautiful sunny day.
The glitter tattoos were a big hit!

All the adults enjoyed the sunshine too!
When the slide was all rolled up, the cake was all ate, and the paint had all washed away, it was so precious to watch the kids enjoy the rest of the sunlight with a water hose and a plastic tub.
The very last thing the kids did before everyone left was watch balloons fly up in the sky.
What a neat little adventure!
Sometimes the most memorable days are the simplest one.
