My morning began with breakfast in bed.
On the menu was french toast, coffee, & milk

After breakfast we all got ready for church and headed out. On the way we stopped at my mom's house so I give her & my sister their gift. This my sister's second Mother's Day and my mom's 30th.
My mom got a cute shirt, a wallet, some "no sew hems" so she can actually wear all the pants that I've given her. (She's a little bit shorter than me.... well, a lot shorter)
My sister got a cute coupon book; she's officially becoming a coupon mom :)
On the way home from church we stopped at my grandma's to give her a card and her gift.
She was just pulling in from church too so we all met outside.
This year Ayden was able to write out his name (how precious!)
My grandma does the most awesome task for me, she takes all of our clean socks and matches them up for us! Usually I bring all the socks over in a large reusable grocery tote so for Mother's Day we got my grandma her own "sock bag." It was a canvas bag that said "We love you itshugrandma (that's what my kids call her) and had a blonde, red, & brown haired stick child on there with the kid's names.
She thought it was perfect!
Next stop was Joey's mom's house.
The kids creeped up the stairs with their card behind their back (it was so cute)
She got a flat mini wallet and jelly watch
*****
After lunch and the boys had dish duty and cleaned up the kitchen
(we ate on paper plates :)
and then we headed to the Best Family Reunion at Nahunta Ball Field
The kids played baseball first
Then with their tractors in the sand
When all their cousins got there they switched to more advanced games like "whose brave enough to jump over the barrell from the bleaches"
Kids, it doesn't take much to entertain them.
We had hotdogs and cheeseburgers for dinner
The kids loved being outside and seeing all their family
This Mother's Day I received material gifts, a candle, flowers, and a homemade meal, but the real gift was a beautiful day spent with God's biggest blessing to me,
my FAMILY
Behold, children are a gift of the LORD
