My Little Princess is Three

Tuesday, May 24th Bethany turned three years old.

Her big brother had a birthday just 3 weeks before so of course she wanted a birthday just like Brock's with one exception..... princesses, she wanted lots of princesses!

For her royal highness' birthday breakfast she requested cheese biscuits

Later that day she enjoyed cupcakes and juice with her friends at school
Then just a few short hours later her friends joined her for her birthday party at Chic fil A

About 6:25 the peaceful, quiet birthday scene at Chick fil A became much different
About nine energetic 2-6 year olds (including my three) came running in!

The energy and excitement of children just amazes me,
if we could somehow bottle that up and sell it we'd be billionaires!
First the kids played,
the they all got to pick out a crown
and then ate their kids meals

Natalie was our hostess; this was her very first birthday party and she did an excellent job!

Next was play time again while the parents finished up on their food and got to relax (for about a minute :)

We sang Happy Birthday and had cake & ice cream

Then after some playtime again the cow made a visit
All the kids  were really excited to see him

but about 30 seconds after they saw him  you heard the cries of little ones
that just realized they had a 7 foot walking cow in front of them!

Bethany didn't even come out of the play room at all
Next was present time!
It's so funny because we think that are kids will be nice and polite and open one gift at a time, exam it and then walk over to thank the nice person for their gift and patiently walk over to the next gift and begin to slowly open that one ..... nope! It's always a mad race to open them as fast as possible and then throw them to make room the next one.
One day I will accept that and think realistically :)

At 7:30 everyone began to head out and we cleaned up and loaded up the car with all her wonderful gifts.
Ayden and Brock got a gift for being sweet big brothers (for the most part)

When we got home that was when the real fun began. Bethany got to tear into her boxes of barbies and toys and she had one more special gift from mom and dad. Earlier in the month Joey had traded with a friend of ours, he helped them move and we got a beautiful changing table/high chair set for Bethany.
She started playing little mommy right away!

Ayden even had to investigate the new toys around
He didn't realize mom had a camera :)
It was a royal ball of fun and Bethany had a wonderful 3rd birthday!
