Taking three children ages 3,2, & 1 to a birthday party would make most people go hide under a table; not us though. A birthday party to us is free entertainment (with the exception of buying a gift) and a chance for the kids to get out on a weekend and do something fun and different. Yeah, sometimes you want to pull your hair out chasing the kids especially if it is as they are heading right for the deep end of an underground pool but when you weigh the positive over the negative it's so worth it!

This birthday party was for a friend of mine Sandra Bond's little ones. Jennifer was turning 6, Jannah was turning 5 and Jacob was turning 2. I have watched these babies grow up over the years. When Jennifer was 1 and Jannah just a newborn I occasionally I would watch the girls so her mom & dad could work at night in the store, it was before I had kids so I knew absolutely nothing about babies and what to do with them. The first time I watched Jannah she kept crying and for the life of me I could not figure out why, she was dry, fed, & I was holding her. A few hours later Sandra picked her up and let me know she forgot to leave the pacy for her!!!!! That was my first lesson in babysitting, ask for a pacy first, then bottles, etc! Ok, back to the birthday :)
This was a great birthday party.

The kids played on the jumpy things & on the swings.

They had shaved ice and popcorn

The kids loved getting candy from the Elmo pinata. They even shared some with Jay, the 180 pound Rottweiler "puppy" as Ayden calls him.

Oh, speaking of Elmo, he showed up

too!

The hotdogs, chips, & cupcakes were a great treat but the best part was the.........
The goody bags! They got coloring books, crayons, bouncy balls, a whistle (thanks Sandra :) cookies, & more candy (thanks again Sandra:)

Whenever you get invited to a party the Bonds are throwing you don't want to miss it. Nine times out of 10 you leave thinking it was your birthday.
