For 8 months this has been the event Bethany has been preparing for in her dance class. This was the very first year for Bethany doing dance so it was a completely new experience for us.
Wednesday, May 16th was the dress rehearsal.
Daddy had to be there because he was going to be in the show too!
The girls were so excited and nervous....
so were the dads!
They had a "Little Miss America Pageant" to practice for
The next dance they practiced for was "Lolli Pop"
Bethany has sang the "lolli pop" song at least 50 times since it was first introduced to her but once she got on that stage it was like she was hearing it for the first time.
They all did great though and we knew they'd be just fine for the performance the next night.
Dress rehearsal was fun, but baby girl was tired out when she was done.
Friday at 7:00 pm was the big night! We had to have the girls back stage by 6:00 and they would stay there till almost 8:00 when they went on stage. I don't know how they did it but the stage moms kept all the little girls quiet and occupied for over 2 hours!
"itshugrandma", "grandma with the gator" and mom and dad were at the show
Joey was so sweet to pick up baby girl a dozen roses
after she came off stage Joey gave her the roses and she said "these are for me???"
She felt sooooo special
"Here, dance with me daddy"
Tears, lots of tears watching our baby girl at her very first recital!
Great grandma was very proud of her too
My finger may be small but I can still wrap my Daddy around it.
