The week after Christmas we all got together at "Cousin Trudi's house for a family get together. The is the first time that kids had all been there so they were really excited to explore all the rooms. This was also the first time the boys got to meet their new cousin Maci! Every year for Christmas Joey's dad and his sister take turns hosting a Christmas dinner for the Lancaster side of the family; this year it was his sister's turn so they had it over at Trudi's and Matt's house (her daughter) since their house had plenty of room for the little ones. The dinner was great, with BBQ, chicken, yummy sides including Joey's favorite from his grandma Helen, the pineapple casserole. For dessert Paige made cupcakes! After dinner the kids got to open up gifts which they loved! It was a nice getting together with all of them. Our goal this year is to make sure that we see this side of the family more than just at Christmas, With the busyness of life in no time a year has passed by and your thinking why did we wait till Christmas to get together! Joey always talks about the memories he had with his cousin Trudi and Paige so it's my hope that Bethany, Brock & Ayden will be able to share memories just like their dad's with Maci and all the other little ones to come!
