Bethany started back in dance in August and has been practicing the Roley, Poley, the Polar Bear dance every Tuesday until now for this night.
It was in Mount Olive, so she got ready at mom's work
and was absolutely adorable!
The boys didn't want to be left out
about 5:30 we headed to downtown Mount Olive for the show
and met daddy there (I think he was Bethany's favorite that night :)
all the polar bears gathered
Bethany helped a little one named Ava who was scared, she held her hand the whole time
about 6:00 pm they all lined up
the town Mayor said the opening prayer
and it began to snow!
I can't count the times I had to say "Ayden, don't eat the snow!"
The kids got to see their friends from school
Ayden begged Santa to let him on stage... it didn't happen
Now it was time for the show to begin!
Bethany was a penguin last year
and here she goes!
It only lasted about 2 minutes but boy they were some cute polar bears!
next was the Betty Boops
the kids enjoyed the show
Bethany even ran into her old partner in crime, Sophia!
The walls of the street were decorated with pages the kids had colored
Ayden and Brock found theres!
Next they wrote letters to Santa
We warmed up with some hot chocolate from Hwy 55
and they also had some goodies at another table
this picture does not give this dog justice. This dog was the size of a small pony and so well behaved!
(Check out Brock's face)
Ayden found his buddy Alex
the last stop was to visit Santa
Aunt Sammie, cousin Logan and Grandma showed up just in time
We all headed out for pizza next and called it a night!
