Bethany turns Five!

5 Years old! My baby girl turned 5 years old May 24th. Last year Bethany dressed as the Tangled Princess and this year she wanted to be Snow White. We did a lot of planning to make this birthday as special as possible! Bethany got her outfit at Christmas (5 months ahead to make sure it fit just right!)
The night before we stayed up late making cupcakes. Bethany was such a trooper because she actually attended the funeral of one of her classmates that same night so we did not get home until late but she stayed right up making sure they were done.
 They turned out awesome!

Friday morning, the day of her birth she woke up to the breakfast of her choice!
Pancakes with strawberries and whip cream of coarse!

Birthday breakfast is always the best!!!
After we dropped the boys off at school we headed to my work to make coffee before she had to go to preschool.
Bethany made sure to announce to everyone that it was her birthday.
Ms. Mary Beth had a surprise for her..... a wind chime!
The windchime was in rememberance of her classmate Kelsey that had passed away the week before.
The rest of the office also had surprises for Bethany.... she got over $50 !!!!!
Next we headed to preschool where she presented the wind chime to her teacher to hang up in her classroom and also got to wear the special birthday hat!

At lunch time I went back to the school so we could have a little birthday party.
She had a quick wardrobe change.
The shirt & flip flops were made especially for her earlier that month.
Fish on a bun.... perfect lunch for a princess right? (yuck!)
next was the best part... cupcakes! Bethany got the "poisonous apple"
all the kids got a "dwarf" hat. I purchased all the Christmas hats after Christmas for a great deal

Hey, how did Brock get invited to the party?????
Bethany was so precious that day

Then Bethany "read" the story of Snow White to the class
After story time all "Snow Whites' "dwarfs" gathered around for a picture
Seriously, these kids were so precious!

I could have took pictures of these kids all day!
Just before we left we passed out the "mirror-mirror" pictures
The day before we brought in a frame and had the kids take their pictures and then printed it out for a party favor
The pictures turned out adorable and the kids loved seeing their faces with mustaches and makeup
We said goodbye to our teachers and friends and headed to the beach for more birthday fun!
Friday night we got to the beach just in time to watch the movie in the park!
the movie "Brave" was showing.
after the movie Grandma Beach and cousin Tiffany helped make cupcakes for Bethany's party the next day
Grandma gator helped with the stems and leaves

Then we all settled in!
****
Saturday morning bright and early Ayden had already been to the water and found a critter

Then we had some more guests come in......
Cousins Holly, Haley and Hannah came in from Pennsylvania!
after everyone was up and ready to go we headed over to the park across the road from the beach house and played for about 30 minutes while we waited for some of our guests to arrive

The boys were not listening so they got put in time out....
Danielle's kids are so honest that they put themselves in time out because they said they were not listening either lol!
Next we all piled up in vehicles and headed to a "secret park" for the birthday party
The park was about 30 minutes away going towards Sneads Ferry
We had hot dogs, chips, baked beans and cupcakes of course!

Can you tell who Joey's dad is .... they are mannered so much alike it's scary!
since I'm always taking the pictures I thought I'd take a picture of myself just to prove I was there.
Bethany was ready to open those presents early!

  Cupcake Time!
 "Make a wish!"

Finally time for presents! Cousin Haley, Holly & Hannah got Bethany some great cds
Brock was already preparing his dance moves

 Money from Grandma "Beach"!
Lots of goodies from Grandma and Papa Gator

and "Real" dress up clothes from Danielle & the kids
Danielle was so excited about these finds!

Brock even got a present since they couldn't make it to his birthday

  He loved it!

Diaper change time.... Joey and I are so glad those days are over!!!!
We were able to get some mirror mirror pictures before we left the park

  how adorable is cousin Lukas!?!?!
Snow White and her "beach" dwarfs had a great time!

If you would have asked me five years ago when we brought Bethany home what life was going to be like I don't think I could have even begun to imagine how much joy, drama and life she brings into our family. Bethany is so loving and affectionate and is the perfect piece to our family to make it complete. Finding out I was pregnant with her was the scariest and most amazing day of my life. I am so thankful that God surprised us with the blessing of this little girl five years ago!
Happy 5th birthday princess! We love you!
