There are several moments I have found that make a momma cry.... the birth of our children, their hurts, their accomplishments and their milestones.... today was another milestone that made mom cry.
June 7th I walked my baby girl into preschool for the very last time. She was the third baby to go to preschool (second at this particular preschool) and this day marked the day she went from being my baby to a future kindergartner. The day was just a regular day for Bethany but for mom, it was the beginning of her fast track to adulthood. I blinked and my baby girl was ready for "real school!"
What better way to celebrate the last day of school but with a puppy!
Bethany was so blessed to have wonderful teachers again this year. They were so patient with her even with her constant need to be in control (bossy) I have no idea where she gets that from ;) Bethany is such a smart, little girl with a heart as big as they get and she has such a "go-getter" personality... I can't wait to see what God has in store for her! It's sad seeing our babies grow up but I have to admit, it's kind of nice that they are getting a little bit independent... and hopefully one day they will repay us and start taking care of mom and dad!
Go bye preschool.... hello Kindergarten!
