Practice didn't take too long, they only had two dances so we were home by about 9:00 pm.
Saturday, June 1st was the big day!
It was sad to think this was her last time dancing for a few months. I was going to miss getting Bethany ready at work, hearing her little tap shoes across the tile floor.
But September wasn't that far away.
After Ayden's baseball game we sent the boys home with grandma and daddy, Bethany and I headed to the show.
We dropped Bethany off in the dressing room and the stage moms took care of them from there.
Bethany's dance wasn't until about intermission time so the stage mom's had their jobs cut out for them entertaining all those little girls for several hours! (Lord bless them!!!!)
The stage moms were awesome!
All the dancers did a great job!
It's so dark in the theater that I couldn't get any photos but trust me their two little numbers, Papa Loves Mambo and Ain't She Sweet were adorable!
(a sneak peak from the rehearsal)
The very last part of the show was amazing; they did a number in honor of Bill Outlaw and his foundation that helps people financially battling cancer. It was a number to a song from Philippians 4:13 that talked about I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. It was a really powerful piece.
This year we stayed for the entire event and Bethany was able to go onstage and receive a medal.
after the show she had a big surprise! Her preschool teacher, Mrs. Hughes, had come to the show!
and Grandma "Gator" !
Proud parents right here!
it was a great show
and baby girl was knocked out in minutes.
