Friday night and Saturday morning we had three ball players....
Brock even hit his sister home!
and got a home run himself!
Ayden, Papa, Grandma and I cheered them on from the stands
while Joey was out on the field filling in
The kids "won" the game.... they thought everytime they got hotdogs (which was after every game) that meant they won their game :)
The poor babies were so wore out after the game
They were sleeping so good we just let them sleep in their uniforms
Saturday morning was Ayden's turn to play ball and Bethany & Brock's turn to watch....
as you can see they are not very good cheerleaders unless you count the dinosaurs as their audience :)
Baseball is going to be Ayden's sport, he really took this year seriously, even during his warm up time.
He played great and the boys went home with grandma and papa while Bethany turned into a ballerina for the Pickle Festival
Luckily this year it wasn't as cold as last. The girls waited so patiently. Bethany stayed quiet as she normally does when she's nervous.
The cutest little girls were ahead of Bethany's group
and the very talented older group went directly before them. Bethany is always amazed watching the older girls. You can see her wheels turning imagining herself just a little bit older on that stage.
Now it was showtime.
"Ain't She Sweet" was the song and it boy was that the perfect fit for this group!
Mrs. Collins cheered the girls on from the side
and was right there to catch them off stage
Bethany had a special visitor... baby Anika and Mrs. Kelly
It took till after the performance but I finally got a crack of a smile out of her
after I promised and icy and a balloon lol!
We also had lunch at one of her favorite spots... Hwy 55 !
Our last stop was grandma Arbeau's house... since she couldn't make it to the festival she made Bethany a chocolate cake
Which Bethany immediatly stuck her face in.... "what, grandma said it was MY cake" she says :)
These kids run Joey and I ragged but it's so much fun!
