It's amazing that a trip that years ago kids took everyday is now considered a "field trip" for kids. 
We even needed a police escort
but hey, I was a parent very excited for my little man and his adventure and very thankful for the police escort!
The trip was about 1.5 miles there
this is an annual event, you can see the little "tiger paws" used to guide the children
once we got to the park the kids scrambled!!!!
Ayden and I had a friendly game of tic tac toe......
I won one, and he won one.
Carver has some awesome teachers, they were right out there playing like they were teenagers!
Ayden really had a great group of kids in his class

and we headed back
My little pickle and his friends had a great day walking to the park (and so did mom :)
