These two pictures sum up my actual birthday.... "Momma" on my birthday I had three sick children and 1 sick husband (which by the way is the same as having three sick children so it was like taking care of 6!) It wasn't a glamorous birthday at all but it definitely was one to remember :) Joey gave me a quote for family pictures (seriously? a quote? who does that) and a face kit came in the mail that I actually had been wanting for a while ... just in case your wondering, it does not make you look like Cindy Crawford... totally disappointed :/ I would lie if I said that I wasn't sad, I actually cried but 10 minutes later I sucked it up and faced my reality (the sick kids and no birthday celebration) and moved on. Hey, at least I had a family to take care of and I was not sick! It could always be worse.
The next day I went back to work and a co worker, Mary Beth, who is always so thoughtful had bought me a gift basket and it was so nice and exactly what I needed to brighten my day! Then at lunch we had cake which had a circus theme which was perfectly fitting considering the past couple days.
Later that week my mom threw me and my brother a joint birthday since our birthdays are only three days apart. We had it on my brothers birthday (the 5th)
I got a "ho-ho" cake (my favorite) and my brother Eric, got a German chocolate cake (his favorite)
We had the whole family over for hotdogs and chips at my mom's house
Wow! That was alot of candles ..... 63 to be exact!
The cakes were great!
Then a few days later on Sunday I got a third cake!
Joey's parents had a little cake after Sunday dinner for me
So it started crappy but ended very sweet.... literally ! three cakes later!
