Kindergarten Registration for Bethany

**sniff, sniff, this is a hard one to write about. My last baby and my baby girl at that going into kindergarten! I felt like I was signing away a piece of my heart that day!
but the night before Ayden reminded me how important this day would be..... Ayden who is two years older read Bethany a bed time story on his own.

That was a perfect picture of peace and understanding I needed on the eve of signing my baby up for kindergarten. It was a reminder of all the wonderful teachers God has put in our path to train up and teach our children.
So the next morning as we did with Ayden and Brock, Bethany got a special breakfast of her choice...
She chose McDonald's She was beaming... literally there was a glare from the sun blinding us :)
First stop is a picture op with the Carver Tiger
then off to Mrs. Collins to start the tour
We learned what our expectations were
Dropped all the important Registration paperwork with Mrs. Gregory "Avery's mom" (mom did beforehand)
Made sure we were old enough for kindergarten with Mrs. Atwood
Each station Bethany got some candy to fill her bag

then off for copies with Mrs.Whitfield (who we found out would be Bethany's teacher)

We turned in our paperwork with our medical info to the school nurse
and finally checked out
the last stop was the PTSO table to register for goodies!
They also did a kindergarten assesment on Bethany and found out that she is right on grade level and actually a little above...
guess her brothers rubbed off on her or it could be the awesome teaching of her preschool teachers :)
After registration she took off for class with her new booksac dragging behind and just like that my last baby was signed up for kindergarten......
Just as the little plants were ready to take home that started from a little seed my baby was growing up and ready to move on to her next big adventure. It's bitter sweet but at least I get to enjoy the memories and look forward to new ones!!!!
